Class Details – Spring Session
Cheryl King, New York Acting Coach, now relocated to Sonoma County, will teach this class. Her focus will include exercises that lead to improved stage presence, good character development, and creating your own material. (Read more about Cheryl and our other teaching artists here)
This acting class is specifically for adults who have stepped into a new role – retirees!
Whether you’re a seasoned thespian or a long-time curious audience member, we welcome you to a class of peers, ready to play! Ignite your imagination and bring the drama. This class will focus on some basic acting techniques, character building, scene work, and monologues. We hope you leave the class with new skills, new friends, and new confidence! Come enjoy learning in a creative and safe space, accessible to all.
The session ends with a performance for the public, open to any students who wish to participate. Date TBA.
In-person class will follow current Covid regulations at the time
Tuesdays, Mar 1 - May 3, 1-4 PM
Tuition $500 (12 student maximum)
Payment Plan: $100 deposit, balance must be paid by Feb. 22, 2022
Refund Policy: Tuition will be refunded in full minus a $35 administrative fee if received in writing two weeks prior to the start of classes. Cancellations received in writing with less than two weeks’ notice will receive a 50% discount unless the spot can be filled; in which case tuition will be refunded in full minus the $35 administrative fee.
