6th Street Studio believes kids should play a role in all aspects of theater! This spring we are offering students the opportunity to once again play an important role in producing our Teen Player’s Spring show, Footloose: Youth Edition. Students will learn the methods, materials, and techniques of realizing a physical production on stage. Scenery, props, lighting, sound—everything that sets the scene and creates the world.

Playing is not just for actors! In this class students will design elements of our teen production, getting practical, hands-on experience and act as the Run Crew for each of the live shows. Stagecraft is for the Lego builders, the class doodlers, the incredible playlist-makers, and anyone who’s ever wanted to dive deeper into #backstagelife!

Additionally, this class will offer students the opportunity to come back two weeks later to help tech the Youth Players – Jungle Book KIDS!
