GK Hardt Theater

6th Street Studio believes kids should play a role in all aspects of theater! This summer we have expanded our Stagecraft classes to support all our Summer Camp Productions!

In this class, students have the opportunity to play an important role in producing our Youth Player’s Summer show, Mean Girls, Jr. Students will learn the methods, materials, and techniques of realizing a physical production on stage. Scenery, props, lighting, sound–everything that sets the scene and creates the world. Playing is not just for actors! In this class students will design elements of our teen production, getting practical, hands-on experience and act as the Run Crew for each of the live shows.

Mask & Vaccine Policies

Classes: Masks are strongly recommended, but not required. During class, and especially as we get closer to performances, ANY illness may result in the inability to participate in class and/or performances.

If your child has cold symptoms, nausea or a fever we ask you to keep them home. If your child becomes ill with covid, we require proof of a negative covid-19 test to return. An at home rapid-test OR PCR test are acceptable. We plan to have kids perform without masks.

We currently do not require your child to be vaccinated to participate.

Attending Performances: Starting September 13, 2022, proof of vaccination for Covid-19 will no longer be required. Masks continue to be highly recommended, but not required to attend.
