Matilda’s got a plan to overcome the school’s deplorable headmistress…and luckily, the Tiny Players are here to help! Students in this experience will join our production of Matilda Jr as an ensemble of little kids in the lovely Miss Honey’s class. Throughout their ten week journey they will rehearse and perfect two musical numbers, one which they will perform with our Youth Players, and one which they’ll perform all on their own! All the while, our instructors will lead them in games and exercises that will encourage them to think outside the box, to be imaginative, and to work together as a team. Finally, the experience will end with them performing their songs for a live audience during all of the Youth Players Matilda Jr shows. Miss Trunchbull can’t win if we all stand together, so enroll today and help the class fight back!
About the Show: Matilda has astonishing wit, intelligence… and special powers! She’s unloved by her cruel parents but impresses her schoolteacher, the highly loveable Miss Honey. Matilda’s school life isn’t completely smooth sailing, however – the school’s mean headmistress, Miss Trunchbull, hates children and just loves thinking up new punishments for those who don’t abide by her rules. But Matilda has courage and cleverness in equal amounts, and could be the school pupils’ saving grace!
