Youth Players – Musical Theater Dance

Grades 3 – 6

I just wanna DANCE!!!

Set to well known musical theater songs, this class will incorporate the style of dance typically seen on a Broadway stage and emphasizes performance skills such as connecting with the audience and facial expressions. We will study different genres of music and choreography from iconic shows such as “A Chorus Line” and “Hamilton”. Come learn and explore the technique of jazz, ballet, musical theater, and hip hop that will be the foundation of your dance and theater career!

Malia Abayon studied hip hop, ballet, musical theater, and modern dance at Steps on Broadway and Broadway Dance Center in New York City. She is so excited to explore the many styles of musical theater with this class!

Tuition: $130 (15 student max)

Class Dates: Wed, Nov 16 – Dec 14 @ 4:00 – 5:30pm

Refund Policy: Tuition will be refunded in full minus a $35 administrative fee if received in writing two weeks prior to the start of rehearsal. Cancellations received in writing with less than two weeks notice will receive a 50% discount unless the spot can be filled; in which case tuition will be refunded in full minus the $35 administrative fee. No refunds will be given after class starts.

Mask & Vaccine Policies

Classes: Masks are strongly recommended, but not required. ANY illness may result in the inability to participate in classes.

If your child has cold symptoms, nausea or a fever we ask you to keep them home. If your child becomes ill with covid, we require proof of a negative covid-19 test to return. An at home rapid-test OR PCR test are acceptable.

We currently do not require your child to be vaccinated to participate.
