Make ‘em Laugh!
Whether you’re looking to get your start in theater, hone a new skill, or just have fun, the Singin’ in the Rain Masterclass is for you! This BRAND NEW two-week summer intensive will help turn you into a better actor, singer, and dancer who’s ready to nail their next performance. Facilitated by prominent Sonoma County theater artists and underscored by glorious songs from the hit film, this experience will give students a working background knowledge of musical theater before putting them on their feet and helping them turn that background knowledge into pure skill. Finally, the camp will culminate in a final showcase, a perfect opportunity for kids to show off their new talents to friends and family.
Get into character, sing your heart out, and tap your toes with the Singin’ in the Rain Masterclass!
About the Show: Singin’ in the Rain has all the makings of a Tinseltown tabloid headline — the starlet, the leading man and a love affair that could change lives and make or break careers! In silent movies, Don Lockwood and Lina Lamont are a hot item, but behind the scenes, things aren’t always as they appear on the big screen! Meanwhile, Lina’s squeaky voice might be the end of her career in “talking pictures” without the help of a talented young actress to do the talking and singing for her.
Tuition: $600 (30 student maximum)
Class Dates: Mon - Fri, Jun 17 - 28, 2024 @ 9am - 4pm
