Teen Improv & Acting Techniques
What do you want? What’s in your way? These are some of the basics of modern acting methods… and life! In this class, teens will have the opportunity to do in-depth work on scenes, monologues, and improv techniques with a duo of working professionals as their teachers. (You can check their bios out on our Teaching Artist page!) Students will walk away from class with an understanding of various contemporary acting methods, the basics of longform improv, an audition monologue in their pocket, and a close-knit group of creative friends with whom they’ve shared a conservatory level experience. The class will culminate in an optional showcase where students from all 6th Street’s skill-based classes will have a chance to take the stage and shine!
In-person class will follow current Covid regulations at the time
Tuition $200 (15 student maximum)
Payment Plan: $100 deposit, balance must be paid by February 21, 2022
