Fall Teen Production
A mean girls retelling of this chilling classic written by the Bard himself.
Shakespeare is considered by many to be the Olympics of acting! We will be exploring this classic text with a contemporary lens, identifying recurring motifs, imagery, and recontextualizing and devising how this work sits in the modern world. Teens will put to practice the skills they’re learning in their literature classes and embody these centuries-old characters with brand new meaning. A focus on close reading and text analysis, vocal work and diction, as well as classical acting with contemporary techniques. We will adapt this centuries-old horror story to fit a contemporary high school, witches and all, just in time for Halloween!
