Legend of Sleepy Hollow

Fall Youth Production

It’s wickedly funny!

In this adaptation of Washington Irving’s classic tale of spooky superstition, gawky schoolmaster Ichabod Crane fancies himself a dashing, worldly man of learning, capable of winning the heart of Katrina Van Tassel. What will be the outcome when Ichabod confronts his aspirations, fears, and of course, the Headless Horseman of Sleepy Hollow?

Theater games! Believe it or not, we’ve all played them.

Whether it’s Zip, Zap, Zop, or a simple name learning game, we use theater games all the time in our lives to learn and increase our spontaneity! Spontaneity helps kids let go of day to day anxiety, by allowing them freedom and connection in the moment. This class will be a fun introduction to improv techniques, sociodramatic exercises, and will allow students to practice flexibility, adaptability, and, of course, spontaneity in a safe and creative environment. This class is great for shy creatives and boisterous performers alike. Theater Games! will help bolster confidence, encourage collaboration, and best of all, it’s fun!

A whimsical reinvention of Dickens’ most beloved Christmas story in wacky rhymed couplets. –With zoot-fruited juices and binka bird geese, from Bed-Headed Fred to Timmy Loo Hoo, this tale of glorious holiday cheer is similar to something Dr. Seuss might have come up with — if he ever had his way with the story…
