G.K. Hardt Theater
This theater was renamed for Santa Rosa businessman G.K. Hardt, for the $450K gift from the G.K Hardt Trust in July, 2007.
Each of the 184 seats in this venue has an unimpeded view of the deep stage with orchestra pit. There’s a state-of-the-art sound and light booth in the back of the house and comfortable seating with lots of leg room throughout the auditorium.
We’ve planned for the comfort of our differently-abled patrons with seven removable seats. We also offer Phonic Ear loop which makes it possible for hearing aid users to hear the sound directly into their devices.

The Monroe Stage
This intimate and flexible 99-seat black box theater is conveniently located next door to the Playhouse (same building) in Studio E.

The Red Shoes Gallery is a partnership between 6th Street Playhouse and artist Harvey Mendelson. Red Shoes Gallery presents new exhibitions throughout the year, exhibiting some of Sonoma County’s finest artists, and is open to the public prior to and during run dates of Monroe Stage productions.
The art on display is for sale. Drop boxes and inquiry forms are provided for patrons who wish to inquire about a work of art. Mr. Mendelson responds to all inquiries, and is happy to answer questions about the art or to provide purchase information.
