“Enormous fun…it’s strength comes in part from the sheer diamond wit and diamanté showbiz glitter” – New York Post

A team of Broadway creatives are hoping for a stroke of luck. With their recent Broadway disaster fresh in their memory, they gather a group of singers, dancers, actors, and a director for an important meeting in Westchester, hoping to secure a wealthy backer for their next project. But tensions rise (and hilarity ensues) when the infamous “Stage Door Slasher” arrives, leading the A-list team through a series of comic mishaps and pure murderous pandemonium. Will the artists discover the killer? Or will the “Stage Door Slasher” live to lurk another day?

A sidesplitting murder mystery farce by John Bishop, critics have called The Musical Comedy Murders of 1940 “the intelligent person’s kind of nonsense,” “hugely enjoyable,” and “enormous fun.” With its irreverent wit and endless antics, it will have its audience laughing from the first line to the final bow!
