The beloved story of Mary Poppins soars to new heights in this Tony Award-winning musical, inspired by P.L. Travers’ timeless books and the classic Disney film. Set in Edwardian London, the tale follows the Banks family, whose mischievous children, Jane and Michael, have sent every nanny packing—until the mysterious and enchanting Mary Poppins arrives. With a blend of magic, common sense, and a touch of mischief, she transforms their world, teaching them lessons in love, family, and imagination.

Filled with show-stopping dance numbers and iconic songs like “A Spoonful of Sugar” and “Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious,” this spectacular production will leave audiences of all ages believing that anything is possible—especially with a little magic in the air!

Caroline Flett

Caroline Flett (Mary Poppins) is a Bay Area–based soprano and actor. Recent roles include Mabel in The Pirates of Penzance at 6th Street Playhouse and the Duchess in La Fille du Régiment with the Versailles Royal Opera. Caroline teaches privately through her Flett Vocal Studio and holds a BM in Vocal Performance from Indiana University’s Jacobs School of Music. She also trained at the European Music Institute in Vienna and has performed with the Austrian American Vocal Academy, Hawaii Performing Arts Festival, and SongFest at the Colburn School.

Andrew Cedeño

Andrew Cedeño (Bert) is excited to be doing another show here at 6th Street Playhouse. Andrew began his musical theater journey during his senior year of high school, when he played Danny Zuko in the musical Grease hosted by the Cotati music school Music to My Ears. He graduated from Sonoma State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Vocal Performance. During his time at SSU, Andrew was cast in a few school shows, including Sweeney Todd, Candide, Spring Awakening, and The Pirates of Penzance. He recently was cast as Frederic in The Pirates of Penzance, Jack in Into the Woods and ensemble in All is Calm.  Andrew now has his own private voice and piano studio for teaching students of all ages.  He is currently represented by TN Model & Talent.

Keene Hudson

Robert Nelson

Robert Nelson (George Banks) is an actor and singer who has been performing in the Bay Area for 20 years. Most recently, he was seen at 6th Street Playhouse playing the Maître d’ in She Loves Me and the Dentist in Little Shop of Horrors. Other notable credits include Man 1 in I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change at SAL; King Arthur in Spamalot at Spreckels; and Jamie in The Last Five Years at Novato Theater Company. Robert lives in Petaluma. He is the proud father of two boys and is actively learning what not to do from George Banks.

Andrea Thorpe

Andrea Thorpe (Winifred Banks) is excited return to 6th Street, where credits include Bridget in the Velvet Grass cast of LIZZIE, Rachel in Jimmy Buffet’s Escape to Margaritaville, and Maddie in the staged reading of Bedlam. Previous shows have included 9 to 5 the Musical (Violet), School of Rock (Principal Mullins), Next to Normal (Diana), Cats (Grizabella), Les Misérables (Fantine), Urinetown (Penny), and Spamalot (Lady of the Lake). She was also in Six Women with Braindeath for 6 of 13 years. Andee fills her “spare time” as a technical writer. Love and gratitude to her ever-supportive friends and family.

Violet Spears

Violet Spears (Jane Banks) has been an avid lover of theater since she began performing at the age of three. Recent roles included Esther Jane in A Christmas Story: the Musical, Nancy in Oliver! Jr., Kate in The Pirates of Penzance Kids and Matilda in Matilda Jr. at 6th Street Playhouse; Violet Beauregarde in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory at OCA; and Flora in the Playhouse’s staged reading of The Innocents. When not at the theater, Violet is an accomplished dancer, singer, reader, flautist, and enjoys hanging out with her dog and chickens. Thanks to Mom and Dad for driving to and from all the things, and to friends, family, and teachers for their support.

Joe Schulze

Joe Schulze (Michael Banks) is excited to be back at 6th Street Playhouse. He discovered his love for performing at an early age after seeing Aladdin at the Orpheum Theatre. Since then, he’s appeared in several productions at 6th Street, including Flick in A Christmas Story: the Musical, Bruce Bogtrotter in Matilda the Musical Jr., Pinocchio in Shrek Jr., and Bill Sikes in Oliver! Jr. He’s grateful to his family, especially his taxi driver (aka Dad), friends, directors and teachers for encouraging his creativity and supporting his love for the stage.

Kaela Mariano

Kaela Mariano (Mary Poppins) is a performer, director, and teaching artist. Now based in the City, she has previously appeared at 6th Street Playhouse as Mary (It’s a Wonderful Life: WS), Jovie (Elf: the Musical), and as an understudy for Amalia Balash (She Loves Me). At Spreckels Theater Company, she played Petra (A Little Night Music), Ermengarde (Hello, Dolly!), and Lucy (You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown). She directed Mamma Mia!(Technology High School) and multiple JR productions at JCCSF, where she teaches year-round and serves as a vocal coach in Sonoma County.

Chase Thompson

Chase Thompson (Bert) is making his 6th Street Playhouse debut. Previously he has been seen as Barnaby in Hello, Dolly!, Schroeder in You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown, and Hugo in Tuck Everlasting (SFBATCC Nominee) at Spreckels; and most recently as Noel Gruber in SRJC’s production of Ride the Cyclone. He will next be seen as TJ in Sister Act at the Playhouse.

Skyler King

Skyler King (George Banks) is excited to be back at 6th Street once again! He was last here as The Pirate King in the award-winning 2025 production of The Pirates of Penzance. Graduating with an AA in Theatre Arts from Sacramento City College, Sky has performed on stages all over the Sac and Bay Areas for over 15 years. He was last seen onstage in January as The Wanderer in Woody Guthrie’s American Song at Mercury Theater in Petaluma. Outside of the theatre he is also a concert singer, championship belt collector, and co-owner of the Green Bay Packers. Some favorite past roles include Scott the Jock (and more…) in the world premiere of Revenge of the Rebobs (Lucky Penny Productions, 2025), Jack Stone/Jesus in Reefer Madness: the Musical (Lucky Penny Productions, 2025), and Jack/”Stephanie” in Leading Ladies (Main Street Theatre Works, 2019/SARTA Elly Award Nominee – Leading Actor). Sky sends love to his wife Rachel and their dog Paco, and to YOU for supporting the arts!

Katie Foster

Katie Foster (Winifred Banks) earned a BA in music from Sonoma State where she played fun roles, including Adele in Die Fledermaus and Jenny in Company. After taking a break to teach 1st grade, Katie found her way back to the stage, and was recently seen as Mrs. Hedgehog/Gaoler’s Daughter in Wind in the Willows, Piggie in Elephant and Piggie’s: “We Are in a Play!”, and Bird/Turtle in A Year with Frog and Toad. She was also recently seen as Holly in Jonathen Blue’s new work, Holly Day and the Rainbow Road, and as Edith in The Pirates of Penzance at 6th Street Playhouse. She now teaches private music lessons and directs youth theatre in Sonoma County.

Penny Leonhardt

Penny Leonhardt (Jane Banks) is a fifth grade student at St. Rose. Born with a love for theater, she has been acting and singing for many years. She most recently appeared in A Christmas Story, White Christmas, Little Mermaid the Musical and School of Rock, and has performed in youth productions of Matilda Jr., Oliver Jr. and Shrek Jr. at 6th StreetPlayhouse. Penny is thrilled to be performing in one of her favorite plays since childhood and learning from her incredible Mary Poppins castmates!

Rubye Posey

Rubye Posey (Michael Banks) is excited to be a part of the 2025-2026 Studio Company! In her third season at 6th Street Playhouse, Rubye has played Esther Jane in A Christmas Story: the Musical, Oliver in Oliver! Jr., Lavender in Matilda Jr., and Teen Fiona in Shrek Jr. She completed 6th Street’s Masterclass earlier this year and has also appeared in Willy Wonka KiDS and Pirates of Penzance Kids. A fifth-grader at Austin Creek Elementary School, Rubye enjoys playing the piano, participating in chorus, tap dancing, swimming, playing baseball, running, and competing in Odyssey of the Mind. She hopes you enjoy the show!
