Celebrate family, community, faith and life with the classic Broadway favorite and 10-Tony Winner, Fiddler on the Roof!
Fiddler on the Roof is an epic musical that is both a spirited, humorous look at rural life and a serious portrait of sweeping change. It is the story of the small, tradition-steeped Ukrainian town of Anatevka, where Jews and Russians live in a delicate balance on the eve of revolution.
Deeply rooted traditions are threatened when the devout milkman, Tevye, tries to arrange marriages for his daughters, Tzeitel, Hodel and Chava, who have modern ideas about romance. How can he balance adherence to the traditions of his faith with his love for his daughters?
Honor the past while accepting progress?
It’s a precarious position. Much like that of a fiddler on a roof.
Fiddler is the perfect mix of audience-pleasing humor and heart. It features the iconic songs “Tradition,” “Matchmaker, Matchmaker,” and the hauntingly emotional “Sunrise, Sunset.”
Approximate Running Time: 3 hours with a 15-minute intermission.
