The show that revolutionized musical theatre!
An eloquent requiem not only for the idealism of one generation but also for the evanescence of youth itself. Revelatory and exuberant, this American tribal-love rock musical provides a vivid, affectionate look at the flower children of the ’60s.

You’ll revisit the music and culture of that era, as you watch this group of hippies try to make sense of their lives amid the turmoil of the anti-Vietnam War movement.

The first great rock musical, it has some of the most rousing and soulful songs ever written for the stage– “Let the Sunshine In,” “Good Morning Starshine,” “Aquarius,” and the infectious title song “Hair”–that went on to become emblematic of the counter-culture.

A celebration of life, a love letter to freedom, and a passionate cry for hope and change, Hair defined one generation and continues to inspire today.
