6th Street Playhouse is proud to present a workshop of The (Unbelievably True) Story of Nicky O, a new rock musical based on an incredible true story. Nicky O’Neill was an aspiring teenage rockstar when, in 2003, he became the youngest victim in the deadly Station Nightclub fire. Following his death, a series of surprising supernatural events unfolded, uniting his family & friends in the belief that Nicky is forever watching over them from above.
With original music by Nicky O’Neill and friends, alongside a brand new book by local thespian (and Nicky’s sister-in-law) Maureen O’Neill, Nicky O is a moving, heartfelt, and surprisingly funny message that our loved ones are never gone…they walk among us.
Run Time: Approximately 2 hours and 15 minutes, including one-10 minute intermission.
