No Better Turtle Than a Tiny Turtle!
Alice encounters a lot of strange creatures on her journey through Wonderland…but none are cuter than our very own Tiny Player Turtles! In the first week of this summer camp, little ones will learn skills that will turn them from theater newbies into budding young actors: teambuilding, character creation, singing, dancing, and more! Then in week two, they’ll apply their newfound knowledge as they get ready to perform two songs alongside the Youth Players in our summer production of Wonder! A Musical Adventure. Hold on tightly to your shells, take a leap down the rabbit hole, and join Alice for a memorable, once-in-a-lifetime journey!
About Wonder!: While sitting on the riverbank one golden afternoon, a young girl named Alice spots something she can hardly believe: a white rabbit dressed in a suit and holding a pocketwatch. Following this mysterious creature down a rabbit hole leads her to a realm that defies description, filled with strange elixirs, curious characters, and anthropomorphic animals. Scared and lost, Alice must ultimately outsmart the inhabitants of Wonderland in order to make it back home in time for tea.
*In the event of high demand for this production, the show will be double cast and the run extended to six performances.
